Anglesey race report: The north Welsh island sits in the Irish sea and weather can play its part here and did, we had every variety going! There are mixed feelings about this circuit with Leigh loving it Chris hating it and Baldy fairly indifferent. We struggled a little and the boys found it difficult to find the sweet spot. After suffering two previous DNF’s in the Open relegating us to 4th in the championship we needed to find some form but sadly our competitors had the edge this meeting and although we clawed back into 3rd at one point we left still in 4th by one point. In the Power Bike we still sit comfortably in 2nd spot so our finishes of 5th’s and 6th’s didn’t hurt us too badly, Chris got down to the low 12’s and we had the better of our teammate Leigh all weekend (I don’t think it’s his favourite circuit any more!) and both boys had good battles in their respective spots on the last race of the day.
Baldy still carrying injury did well on what was basically a damage limitation exercise and the old war horse managed to stick it on the box with a 3rd and also scored a 4th.

Every one survived and we had a great time of it with our extended AFB family ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ Next stop Castle Combe!
